AMP IT has signed the charter of the Electric Mobility Roadmap 2030, the national platform supported by DETEC and coordinated by the Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) and the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). We are thus joining a community of around one hundred stakeholders from the economy, research, and public authorities committed to advancing electromobility in Switzerland.
A third stage, an expanded scope
Launched in 2018, the Roadmap is now in its third stage (2026-2030). After generating an initial momentum in the sector (2018-2020), then anchoring electric cars in the market (2021-2025), this new stage expands the field of action beyond passenger vehicles to include light commercial vehicles, heavy goods vehicles, and public transport buses.
By signing the charter, members commit to contributing to priority challenges around three themes: vehicles, charging, and electricity supply. This is not a top-down plan, but a voluntary and collaborative approach, without financial commitment, driven by the initiative of its participants.
An initiative for user-friendly charging
Beyond signing the charter, AMP IT is concretely involved in one of the Roadmap's joint projects dedicated to the deployment of user-friendly charging infrastructure: facilitated access to charging in multi-party buildings and at the workplace, a charging network adapted to needs, and above all, a positive user experience with transparent prices at the charging station.
This is precisely the mission we have been pursuing since 2021: making charging simple, accessible, and without unpleasant surprises, whether at home or at the office. Joining this initiative allows us to put our field expertise at the service of a goal shared by the entire sector.
Why it matters
This signature is not just a symbol. It places us within a national network of more than 100 organizations — energy providers, manufacturers, fleet managers, local authorities, associations, and start-ups — all committed to making electric mobility a concrete reality by 2030. A valuable framework for exchanging ideas, collectively addressing obstacles, and raising awareness of what we are building at AMP IT.
