Increase in electricity rates

Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you of an unavoidable adjustment to the charging rates starting from January 1, 2024, resulting from various price fluctuations, taxes, and subsidies.

GENEVA

As of this date, the price per kWh will increase from 0.2826 CHF/kWh (including VAT) to 0.3346 CHF/kWh (including VAT), corresponding to the SIG “Simple Profile, up to 10% Vital Green” rate. This increase is directly linked to the rise in costs imposed by the electricity producer, acknowledging the impact it may have on you, our valued customers.

In an effort to mitigate this impact, AMP IT will absorb the VAT increase, going from 7.7% to 8.1% starting from January 1, 2024, thus keeping the monthly subscriptions unchanged for the canton of Geneva:

  • AMP IT One at 109 CHF/month (including VAT)
  • AMP IT Light at 89 CHF/month (including VAT)
  • AMP IT Volt at 55 CHF/month (including VAT)
  • AMP IT Home at 20 CHF/month (including VAT)

VAUD

In the canton of Vaud, the electricity rate will experience a slight increase, going from 0.3459 CHF/kWh (including VAT) to 0.3527 CHF/kWh (including VAT), corresponding to the “Energie Romande” Simple rate from January 1, 2024. Due to the reduction in the cantonal subsidy for electric vehicle charging installations, we are also compelled to revise our subscription rates, applicable in the canton of Vaud for all new installations:

  • Subsidized AMP IT Volt at 45 CHF/month (including VAT)
  • Non-subsidized AMP IT Volt at 55 CHF/month (including VAT)
  • Subsidized AMP IT Home at 10 CHF/month (including VAT)
  • Non-subsidized AMP IT Home at 20 CHF/month (including VAT)

We understand that any tariff increase can be uncomfortable. However, we want to assure you that we are continuously seeking ways to optimize our costs to minimize its impact on you, our loyal customers.

We sincerely thank you for your ongoing understanding and support. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this tariff increase, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our team remains at your disposal to assist and address all your inquiries.

Best regards,

The AMP IT Team
